We are pleased to announce that the ICCW Language Maintenance Courses will resume on Saturday 24 September.
Our first lesson will be held at Cardiff Central Library from 10 to 11 am to celebrate European Day of Languages with our friends of Europe direct.
Our second lesson will be at Chapter Arts Centre on Saturday 1 October from 10-11 am and author Fabio Geda will be joining us and reading from his amazing book In the Sea there are Crocodiles.
Last but not least, on Saturday 22 October we will celebrate Italian Language World Week at our Language Maintenance class. This class is open to all and will be centred on our current topic ‘Viaggio in Italia’. The class will be followed by meeting with all parents interested to hear about the importance of Language Maintenance and the philosophy behind it.
Our LM programme is formed of 4 groups. We meet on Saturday mornings at Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff from 10 to 11 am:
- Primary School: Year 2 (age 6-7) – Key Stage 1 Year 3 (age 7-8), Year 4 ( age 8-9 ), Year 5 (age 9-10), Year 6 (age 10-11) Key Stage 2
- Secondary School: Year 7 (age 11-12), Year 8 (age 12-13), Year 9 (age 13-14) – Key Stage 3
- GCSE: Year 10 (age 14-15), Year 11 (age 15-16) – Key Stage 4
- A Level: Year 12 (age 16-17), Year 13 (age 17-18). THIS COURSE WILL START FRIDAY 23 SEPTEMBER AT CANTON COMMUNITY HALL FROM 4:30 TO 7:30 PM

The total cost for the above lessons is £160 per child and £120 for each additional sibling.
