Casanova Restaurant was opened in 2005 by three Italian Friends; Antonio Cersosimo, Luca Montuori and Angelo Montuori with the idea of bringing to Cardiff authentic Italian food cooked with the finest ingredients.
Casanova is now regarded as one of the best and most authentic Italian restaurants in Wales. The food is freshly cooked using the very best of local produce and direct imports such as salami, extra virgin olive oil, truffles and pasta. The cuisine focuses on authenticity with an eye on modern techniques and styles. The menu is seasonal and not very extensive in order to ensure maximum quality and attention to detail.

The Nonino Family has devoted itself to the art of Distillation since 1897; in 1973 they create the single varietal Grappa, Monovitigno® Nonino, and revolutionize the way of producing and introducing grappa in Italy and throughout the world. In 1984 they distill the whole grape and create the Grape Distillate ÙE® (Ministerial Authorization for the production of the Grape Distillate D.M. 20.10.84). In 2003 they are awarded the prestigious Leonardo Prize for Italian Quality for the absolute Quality, Research and Innovation”, the Noninos are considered “the true Ambassadors of Italian Grappa throughout the World”. Nonino Grappa and ÙE® are obtained from fresh primary products distilled 100% with artisanal method in their own copper batch steam stills in Ronchi di Percoto. Nonino Aged and Riserva Grappa and ÙE® have always followed a natural ageing in barriques and small casks under seal and permanent surveillance by the Customs and Monopoly Agency in the 5 Grappa Ageing Warehouses of the Nonino Distilleries and are bottled with 0% color additives. The Noninos carry on the evolution of Grappa – Italian Cocktail Spirit, protagonist of fabulous cocktails and aperitifs.
